Life & Hobbies

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Gonzalez (maiden name) decided to join the Navy to help her develop her professional and personal skills while exploring different parts of the world. It was in her first Duty Station where she met her better half, Dr. Jason Blundell, while in her Oral Surgery rotation in Camp Lejeune. They journeyed through their Naval careers together while being stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and Pensacola, Florida. After nine years in the Navy and two young children later, Christian (5) and Annalise (2), Dr. Blundell transitioned into civilian life.

Dr. Blundell enjoys anything that has to do with the outdoors and ocean: beach, fishing, sailing, and boating. Dr. Blundell has also recently discovered a passion for woodworking and enjoys building custom work.
